Google is free, social, open .... are they? I'm feeling like i pay them in privacy-credits more and more each day, i cannot communicate with them at all and there is no transparency about how they work and what they do with YOUR data.
My trust in Google is gone, they know more about me than my mother but there is no way i can ask them to forget or be discrete about my stuff.
Like when you create a Youtube Account and for one reason or another (stupid username?) you have to delete it...... Well, after deletion your google account can no longer be used for any kind of YouTube action! I's a closed circle:
- Signup with new username: nono google account is linked to deleted one
- Login to old, deleted one: nono that one is permanently disabled
- Reopen with old, deleted username: nono, username is still taken!
The only way for me to sign up to YouTube again is to create a new google account.
Google starts to annoy me more and more. There is no way to opt-out of any of their products or services other than completely deleting everything (mail, analytics, docs)! And even then, i do not trust them to actually delete anything ... i bet that when i delete everything and try to signup using the same name ... it's taken.
Every single bit of data is stored and kept. Who gets to use it?
